Located on Barcelona´s street La Rambla, the Gran Teatre del Liceu is an opera house that continues to preserve the city´s culture and history. Originially created by the Sociedad Dramática de Aficionados (Drama Aficionados Society) in 1837 as a house of theater, it was eventually converted to incorporate music and art as well. The current house was rebuilt and opened to the public in 1999, following a devastating fire that destroyed the main hall and stage in 1994.

Situated near the theater is our building, Liceu. The apartment is located at The Rambla area, one of the most famous streets of Barcelona. With a 2 km extension, this picturesque avenue stretches out from Plaza Catalunya to the port of Barcelona. Along its way, you will find small flower and animal shops, news stands and a great variety of street artists. Also, you will be able to visit there the famous food market La Boquería, the Liceu theatre, Antonio Gaudí’s Palau Güell and the Plaza Real square, with its famous lanterns also designed by Gaudí. At the end you will come up with the magnificent statue of Christopher Columbus and just a few steps ahead you will find the Maritime Museum, the modern Maremagnum complex (with plenty of bars, restaurants and discotheques), Barcelona’s Aquarium and the IMAX cinema.

La Casa Mila is another notable work of architect Antoni Gaudí. Characterized by its cliff-like walls and mountainous appearance, it has come to be nicknamed ¨La Pedrera¨ meaning ¨the quarry¨. Built originally for the married couple Rosario Segimon and Pere Milà, the house attracts countless tourists with its contemporary style. Exceptionally famous is the roof of the house, in which Gaudí transformed commonplace chimneys and entrances into sentinels and sculptures.

La Casa Batlló, restored by Gaudí and Jujol in 1877, stays true to the modern and contemporary style of Gaudí´s work. The house is said to have a skeletal quality, proven by the broken ceramic tiles and arched roof that form its structure. The house also features Gaudís eye for color, as the ceramic tiles shift gradually from golden orange to greenish blue.

Located near both houses is our apartment building, Miro. Part of the Eixample Dreta district, the apartment building is situated near much of the most outstanding of the modernist architecture. Just a few steps from the apartment you will find Paseo de Gracia Avenue, well known for its fashionable shops of famous brands and a great variety of “tapas” bars and sophisticated restaurants.

This building, located in the region of Masnou, in the heart of Maresme, is only 17 km from Barcelona. This area has become residential thanks to its many tourist attractions: the weather, the brightness of the Mediterranean landscape, the proximity and size of the beaches, the variety of fish restaurants and its ideal location.
The apartments have all the comforts of high-standard accommodation, with the added value of being in front of the Mediterranean Sea. The distance from the Masnou to Barcelona is enough to enjoy cleaner beaches and less crowded than in the city, with the advantage of being connected to the city centre in 15 minutes and the airport in 40 minutes.
